ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping medical residents, fellows, and faculty members who are feeling stressed, depressed, or have thoughts of suicide. The study aims to see if participating in an anonymous online screening can help these individuals better understand their mental health. By allowing them to interact with a clinician online without revealing their identity, the hope is that they will feel more comfortable seeking in-person counseling. The researchers believe that this support could lead to a decrease in feelings of distress and a lower risk of suicide among participants.
To be eligible for this study, you must be a medical resident, fellow, or a full-time faculty member at OHSU. If you participate, you can expect to complete an online questionnaire about your mental health and have the chance to speak to a clinician anonymously. This is an opportunity to receive support in a safe and confidential way, without the pressure of being judged. The study is currently looking for participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it might be a good chance to get help.
