ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a specific type of lupus called monogenic lupus in children who develop systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The researchers want to understand how common monogenic lupus is in these young patients and to find better ways to diagnose it early. This is important because early detection can lead to better management of the condition.
To participate in the study, children between the ages of birth and 18 years who have been diagnosed with SLE can join, provided they have parental consent. Participants will need to have their medical information available to help with the study. If someone decides to join, they can expect to be part of a research effort that aims to improve understanding and treatment of lupus in children. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to all genders.
