ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called AFTERGYN, is focused on understanding and improving the support needs of women who have completed treatment for ovarian or endometrial cancer. The researchers aim to evaluate what kind of supportive care these patients require after their treatment and how to organize this care effectively. By doing so, they hope to enhance the follow-up care these patients receive and ultimately improve their quality of life in the long term.
To participate in this trial, women must be over 18 years old and in complete remission after their first treatment for endometrial or ovarian cancer. They should have finished their initial treatment, but those on maintenance therapies can still join. It’s important that participants can speak French and have access to a telephone. The study excludes individuals with certain medical or psychiatric conditions that might affect their ability to take part, as well as those whose cancer has returned. If you join, you can expect to share your experiences and needs regarding post-cancer care, contributing to a better understanding of how to support others in similar situations.
