ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the experiences of people with tinnitus—ringing or buzzing in the ears that can be bothersome. The researchers want to find out what makes it easier or harder for individuals to join clinical studies about tinnitus. They will explore reasons why some people may choose not to participate or may decide to leave a study early. By learning more about these challenges, the team hopes to improve future research and make it more accessible for those living with tinnitus.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have a diagnosed case of tinnitus. They also need to be comfortable with following the study procedures and willing to sign a consent form that explains the study. However, people who do not have a diagnosis of tinnitus or have other health conditions that could make participation unsafe, as well as those who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, cannot take part in this study. Since the trial is not yet recruiting, there will be more information available once it begins, but those interested should keep an eye out for updates.
