ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a specific condition called Goal B type basilar invagination (BI), which affects the base of the skull and can cause various health issues. The researchers aim to understand what causes this condition and how different surgical treatment strategies can improve outcomes for patients. Currently, there is no standard approach to surgery for this type of BI, and the study will explore how different methods may lead to better results.
To participate in this trial, patients must have a diagnosis of Goal B type basilar invagination. Those who have been diagnosed with a different type of BI or are not healthy enough for surgery will not be eligible.
