ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and overall quality of life are affected in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), which is a chronic autoimmune disease. The study aims to understand how these mental health factors relate to the activity of the disease itself. To do this, researchers will compare SLE patients to healthy individuals to see how their experiences differ.
To participate in this study, you need to be diagnosed with SLE based on specific criteria. However, if you have severe heart, liver, or kidney problems, or a history of significant psychological disorders, you won't be eligible to join. If you qualify, you can expect to share information about your mental health, sleep, and daily life during the study. This research will help improve understanding of how SLE impacts not just physical health, but emotional well-being too.
