ClinConnect Summary
This study is testing whether wearing two surgical gloves (double gloves) in different size combinations changes how comfortable, sensitive, and dexterous the wearer feels during surgery. There are four glove setups being compared: two gloves the same size, two gloves with one half-size bigger on top, two gloves with the other size on top, and using just one glove. The main outcome is a quick 0–10 rating of comfort, touch, and hand control taken about 90–120 minutes after starting a procedure.
Eligible participants are surgical team members who have at least six months of surgical experience, are 18 or older, are generally healthy, and do not have a latex allergy. The study is being conducted at Ankara Medipol University in Turkey and is currently enrolling by invitation, with about 80 people planned. If you join, you would try the different glove setups during surgeries lasting around 90–120 minutes and rate how you feel. No results are available yet, and this is a glove study (not a drug or device trial).
