ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how motivational interviewing can help patients with chronic diseases, specifically those in the Amiens area, to engage in more physical activity. Since 2017, patients with chronic conditions have had the opportunity to receive a prescription for Adapted Physical Activity (APA), but many doctors and patients are not aware of this option. The trial aims to better inform patients about APA and support their ability to participate by comparing two groups: one that receives motivational interviewing to encourage them and another that does not.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, have a chronic disease, and be able to move independently. They should live in the Amiens metropolitan area and not have any medical conditions that would prevent them from exercising. Participants will receive an assessment of their physical condition and will fill out questionnaires about their quality of life and physical activity levels at the beginning and after six months. The goal is to see if the motivational interviewing helps them be more active and improve their overall well-being.
