ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to help doctors find early signs of kidney problems in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The researchers will look at different tests, including special imaging of the kidneys and blood tests, to see how well these methods can detect kidney issues early on. By studying these tests, they hope to improve the way kidney health is monitored in people with these conditions.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult over 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of SSc or SLE based on specific medical guidelines. Unfortunately, people with other autoimmune diseases, certain infections, or serious health issues like diabetes and heart failure won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo some tests that are safe and non-invasive, like imaging and blood tests, to help contribute to valuable research aimed at improving kidney health in these patients. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon for those interested.
