ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool called "LyssnCrisis," which uses voice-based artificial intelligence (AI) to help train counselors who answer crisis calls about suicide and self-harm. The goal is to improve how these counselors assess the risk of suicide in callers by providing them with better training and feedback. By enhancing the skills of these call-takers, the trial aims to improve the support they can offer to those in crisis, ultimately leading to better outcomes for individuals seeking help.
To participate in this study, individuals must be employed at Protocall Services, Inc., the organization running the crisis call center. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone age 18 or older can join, as long as they haven't taken part in a previous related study. Participants can expect to engage in training sessions using the LyssnCrisis tool, which will help them develop their skills in a supportive environment. This research is important because it seeks to maximize the ability of counselors to help those in need during critical moments.
