ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special breathing exercise called diaphragmatic breathing on patients who have just undergone coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG). After this surgery, many patients may experience symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, sleep issues, and anxiety, which can make daily activities challenging. The goal of this trial is to see if practicing diaphragmatic breathing can help reduce these symptoms, improve sleep quality, and lower anxiety levels, ultimately enhancing the patients' overall quality of life.
To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old, able to speak and understand Turkish, and have no serious breathing issues or mental health concerns. They also need to be transferred to the clinic two days after their surgery. Participants can expect to learn a simple breathing technique that may help them feel better physically and mentally during their recovery. This trial is important because it could provide new ways for healthcare providers to support CABG patients in their healing journey.
