ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special training course using a realistic 3D-printed model of a Port-A catheter can help patients and their caregivers understand how to take care of it better. A Port-A catheter is a small device placed under the skin that helps deliver medicine directly to the bloodstream, often used for cancer treatment. The goal is to improve patient satisfaction by enhancing their knowledge and skills related to this important medical tool.
To participate in this study, you need to be admitted to the hematology and oncology ward at Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital and be able to communicate in Chinese. The trial is open to both men and women aged between 65 and 74 years, as well as younger patients aged 29 to 219 years. If you agree to join, you can expect to learn more about how to manage the Port-A catheter effectively, which can help you or your loved one feel more confident during treatment.
