ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how active older adults are while they are in the hospital, specifically in a geriatric ward. It aims to track their activity over a 24-hour period and to make sure that a Danish version of a mobility assessment tool is accurate and useful. This assessment helps healthcare providers understand how well older patients can move around, which is important for their recovery.
To be a part of this study, participants need to be at least 65 years old, able to walk, and not experiencing confusion (a condition known as delirium). Unfortunately, those who are very sick or in isolation for any reason cannot participate. If eligible, participants can expect to be monitored for their activity levels during their hospital stay, which will help improve care for older adults in the future. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to important research that could benefit many.
