ClinConnect Summary
The Strengthening the Connections to Opportunities for Prevention Engagement (SCOPE) project is a community-based initiative aimed at helping children and families in Hartford connect with support services to reduce their exposure to violence. This program is designed for young people between the ages of 8 and 17 who live in Hartford and can come to Connecticut Children's with a parent or guardian who can give permission for their participation. The goal is to create a supportive pathway that will help families access resources and services that promote safety and well-being.
If you decide to participate in this study, you will work with a Care Coordinator who will guide you and your family in finding help and support. It's important to note that this program is not for children seeking help for behavioral health issues or those in custody of the state or police. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the eligibility criteria, you may have the chance to contribute to important work aimed at preventing violence in your community.
