ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how changing the packaging of little cigars and cigarillos (LCCs) affects people's attention and feelings about health warnings. Researchers want to see if removing flavor descriptions, like "Sweet," from the packaging makes a difference in how people react to the warnings when they look at the products. They will use special equipment to track where participants look and measure their responses to different types of warnings, such as pictures versus text.
To participate in this study, you need to be over 21 years old, a current user of little cigars or cigarillos, and able to visit the study location in Chapel Hill/Carrboro, NC. You should also speak English and not have any eye conditions that could interfere with the eye tracking process. If you decide to join, you can expect to look at various product packages while your eye movements and reactions are recorded. This research aims to understand better how packaging affects tobacco use and could help develop more effective health warnings in the future.
