ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a complex autoimmune disease that can affect various parts of the body. The goal is to better understand how SLE affects patients over time by collecting detailed information about their symptoms and health. Since SLE can be difficult to manage, doctors from different specialties, including rheumatologists and immunologists, are working together in a special consultation group at the Brest University Hospital. This teamwork started in 2009 and aims to improve the way SLE is diagnosed and treated.
To participate in this study, patients must be over 18 years old and have been part of the multidisciplinary consultation. If someone prefers not to participate, they can choose not to join. By gathering and analyzing data from these patients, the researchers hope to improve treatment practices and study how SLE affects people in their city. This research is important not only for local patients but also for sharing findings with others across the country and around the world.
