ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how systemic sclerosis (SSc) affects both physical abilities and overall well-being in individuals living with this condition. Systemic sclerosis can significantly impact daily activities, quality of life, and emotional health for both the individual and their family. The study aims to understand the relationship between how well someone with SSc can function physically and the broader effects of the disease on their social and psychological life. Researchers will use various assessments to measure physical performance, quality of life, and other important factors.
To participate in the trial, individuals need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have a diagnosis of systemic sclerosis. Certain conditions, like severe joint problems or active infections, may exclude someone from participating. Those who join can expect to take part in various tests that evaluate their physical abilities and how SSc impacts their daily lives. This research hopes to shed light on the challenges faced by those with SSc and improve understanding of the condition’s effects on overall health.
