ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain blood measurements, called platelet indices and ratios, relate to different levels of skin burns (first, second, and third degree). The goal is to understand if these blood markers can help doctors assess the severity of burns better.
The study is open to individuals who have suffered burns of varying degrees, specifically those with first, second, or third-degree burns. Unfortunately, people with a specific condition known as ITB (which is not detailed here) will not be able to participate. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to have their blood tested to help researchers learn more about the connection between burn severity and these blood markers. This research could lead to improved care for burn patients in the future.
