ClinConnect Summary
The RELIANT 2 trial is studying two different methods of performing bronchoscopy, which is a procedure used to look at the lungs and take samples from lung nodules or lesions. Specifically, the trial compares robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, which uses advanced imaging technology, to electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy, which also uses special imaging to help guide the procedure. The goal is to see which method is better at accurately diagnosing issues in the lungs.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for a bronchoscopy to evaluate a lung lesion. If you agree to join, you will undergo one of the two types of bronchoscopy. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should discuss it with their doctor to see if they meet the eligibility criteria. It's important to know that participation is voluntary, and you can choose not to take part in the study if you prefer.
