ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on finding new ways to tell apart two types of heart rhythm problems called AVNRT and orthodromic AVRT, both of which are forms of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). These conditions cause the heart to beat very quickly, and the goal of the study is to explore specific techniques that can help doctors better identify which type a patient has during testing. This could lead to more accurate diagnoses and improved treatment options for patients experiencing these types of heart issues.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with one of these rapid heart rhythms and is being evaluated in the electrophysiology lab at Assiut University may be eligible to participate. This includes people of any age and gender. However, individuals with other heart rhythm disorders, such as atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter, or atrial fibrillation, will not be included in the study. Participants can expect to undergo specific tests that will help researchers gather information about their heart's activity during episodes of SVT. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more details shared once it begins.
