ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new system that uses special wristbands to automatically detect cardiac arrest, which is when the heart suddenly stops beating. The trial aims to see how well this detection system works in people who already have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), a device that helps monitor and treat dangerous heart rhythms. By quickly identifying a cardiac arrest event, the system can alert emergency responders faster, potentially improving survival rates.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have an ICD, and be able to wear the wristband comfortably. They also need to own a smartphone that works with the wristband. If chosen for the trial, participants will wear this wristband during their daily activities, allowing researchers to see how accurately the device can recognize a cardiac arrest. It's important to note that individuals with certain medical conditions or those who may not be able to use the wristband properly will not be included in the study.
