ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding new ways to help prevent suicide by using a special video called the "Papageno story." This video contains interviews with people sharing their experiences and coping strategies. Researchers hope that watching this video will help increase protective factors, which are things that can support someone in feeling safer and more hopeful about life.
To participate in this study, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 75 and be part of an existing group called DesignXM. Additionally, you should have felt very sad in the past year, wishing you were dead or wanting to sleep and not wake up. If you meet these criteria, you’ll be invited to watch the video and share your thoughts. The study is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to understand if this video can help improve feelings and reduce the risk of suicide.
