ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) can help people who have received a liver transplant. Specifically, the researchers want to see if this type of therapy can improve how well patients stick to their immunosuppressive treatment, which is important for their health after the transplant. They also want to find out if MBCT can boost patients’ motivation to manage their health better.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been receiving immunosuppressive treatment for at least a month after your liver transplant. You should also be able to communicate without any barriers and be willing to take part in the study. Participants will attend sessions of MBCT and share their experiences, helping researchers understand if this therapy makes a difference in treatment compliance and motivation. If you have hearing or mental health issues, or if you decide to leave the study, you will not be eligible to participate.
