ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to see if it can help improve movement and reduce fatigue in people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). Researchers believe that applying this gentle electrical stimulation to a specific part of the brain may lead to lasting improvements in motor skills and help lessen tiredness caused by the disease. The trial is currently looking for participants who are diagnosed with PD and have at least two of the common symptoms, such as tremors or difficulty with movement.
To participate, individuals must be able to give their consent and should not have certain conditions like dementia, severe mental health issues, or other serious diseases like multiple sclerosis or heart failure. If eligible, participants can expect to receive several sessions of the tDCS treatment and will be monitored for changes in their motor function and fatigue. This trial is an important opportunity for those with PD to potentially benefit from a new approach in managing their symptoms.
