ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding the challenges faced by caregivers of people with Parkinson's disease. Specifically, it looks at how caring for someone with this condition affects the caregivers' well-being. The study will include 43 caregivers who are family members or friends of patients diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. To participate, caregivers must be between 40 and 80 years old, provide unpaid assistance to the patient, and be able to understand and respond to questions in Turkish.

Participants will be asked about their own health and caregiving experiences, including how long they’ve been providing care and any difficulties they face, such as sleep problems or feelings of anxiety and depression. The study will use simple surveys to gather this information, helping researchers to identify the emotional and physical toll caregiving can take. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, this trial could provide valuable insights into the caregiver experience in Parkinson's disease.
