ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using a white noise sleep mask might help improve sleep quality and comfort for patients recovering after surgery called transurethral resection of the prostate (TUR-P). Many patients have trouble sleeping after this kind of surgery due to pain, stress, and noise in the hospital. Good sleep is important for healing and overall health, so researchers want to see if the white noise mask can make a difference.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and preparing for an elective TUR-P surgery. You should not have any issues with hearing or vision, and you shouldn’t be taking certain sleep medications or have psychiatric disorders. The trial is currently not yet recruiting participants, but if you join, you can expect to use the white noise mask during your recovery to see if it helps you sleep better in the hospital. This study aims to find better ways to support patients' recovery and well-being after surgery.
