This clinical trial is studying how the measurement of heart rate variability—how much your heart rate changes over time—differs when taken from different locations on the body during a procedure called vagus nerve stimulation. This procedure involves sending gentle electrical signals to the vagus nerve, which plays a role in regulating heart and other bodily functions. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: one will have their heart rate measured over the chest, while the others will have theirs measured over the right or left arm. The goal is to see if the location of measurement affects the results.

To be eligible for this study, you need to be 18 years or older, able to read and write in Turkish, and not have any ongoing health issues. You should also not have used neuromodulation methods before, and it’s important that you’re not a smoker or drink alcohol. If you decide to participate, you can expect to receive the same treatment as others in your group and help researchers understand more about how to measure heart health effectively.
