ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a guided mental health chatbot called STARS, designed to help young people in Lithuania who are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. The chatbot offers support through conversations, aiming to improve mental well-being for youth aged 18 to 25 who are facing moderate psychological distress.
To join the trial, participants must be between 18 to 25 years old, understand Lithuanian, and have access to a device like a smartphone or computer. However, individuals who are at immediate risk of suicide, going through a severe mental health crisis, or struggling with substance abuse cannot participate. If chosen for the study, participants will interact with the STARS chatbot and help researchers evaluate its effectiveness in providing mental health support. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it represents a promising approach to help young people manage their mental health.
