ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how regular exercise affects the way people choose and eat food, as well as how their bodies respond after eating. Researchers want to learn if people who train regularly have different eating habits and changes in gut hormones compared to those who do not follow a regular exercise routine. The goal is to better understand how exercise influences food intake and digestion, which could help improve advice on diet and physical activity for everyone.

To take part, you should be between 18 and 35 years old, have a healthy weight (body mass index between 18.5 and 26), be a university student, and be either regularly active ("trained") or not actively exercising ("untrained"). Participants need to speak English or German well enough to complete a food questionnaire and be willing to join the study. People with certain health conditions, recent surgeries, or medication use, as well as smokers or pregnant women, are not eligible. If you join, you can expect to have your eating behavior closely monitored and some measurements taken related to your body's response after eating. This study is currently recruiting volunteers interested in helping researchers learn more about the link between exercise and eating habits.
