ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is working to create and test a Turkish version of a questionnaire called the Pelvi-Perineal Surgery Sexuality Questionnaire (PPSSQ). This questionnaire helps women who have had surgery on their pelvic area (the lower part of the body including organs like the uterus) to share how the surgery may have affected their sexual health and well-being. The study will check that the Turkish version of this questionnaire is easy to understand, reliable, and accurately reflects women's experiences.
Women who might join this study are those who had pelvic surgery more than a year ago, have been sexually active in the last three months, and can read and write Turkish. Participants will be asked to complete the questionnaire, helping researchers see if it works well for Turkish-speaking women. This study is not yet open for participants. It’s important to note that women who have not had a sexual partner recently, are undergoing certain hormone therapies, or have a history of certain cancers will not be eligible to join. The goal is to provide doctors and patients in Turkey with a helpful tool to better understand and support women’s sexual health after pelvic surgery.
