ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different types of thyroid cancer, including Hurthle Cell, Tall Cell Variant, Follicular, and Papillary thyroid cancers. The main goal is to improve how doctors diagnose and treat thyroid nodules and cancer. Participants will be individuals who have been diagnosed with or are suspected to have a thyroid nodule or thyroid cancer. The study will involve standard medical tests, as well as some additional tests for research purposes. Researchers will also collect blood and tissue samples to learn more about the genetics of thyroid cancer.
To take part in this study, participants can be adults or children aged 6 months and older who have thyroid nodules or cancer, or family members at risk of developing thyroid cancer due to genetic factors. However, those with serious health issues that could affect treatment or testing will not be eligible. If you join the study, you'll go through various tests and procedures, and your contributions will help researchers better understand and potentially improve thyroid cancer care in the future.
