ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the "Evaluation of the Genetics of Bipolar Disorder," aims to find out which genes might influence a person's risk of developing bipolar disorder and related conditions. Researchers are particularly interested in understanding the genetic links to this mental health issue, which can affect mood and behavior.
If you are 18 years or older and have bipolar disorder, or if you are a close relative of someone who does, you may be eligible to participate. It's important that you can provide a blood or saliva sample safely and that you do not have active substance abuse issues. Participants will undergo a simple procedure to provide these samples, and in return, they will help researchers uncover important genetic information that could improve understanding and treatment of bipolar disorder. This study is currently looking for volunteers from all genders, and it’s a great opportunity to contribute to mental health research!
