ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how blood samples from people with sickle cell disease and healthy volunteers can help researchers understand diseases related to blood vessels better. By collecting these samples, scientists hope to develop new tests that can improve treatment and care for patients with sickle cell disease and other similar conditions.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, and both men and women are welcome. If you have sickle cell disease or other chronic blood conditions, there are specific hemoglobin levels that will determine if you can donate blood. However, if you want to donate saliva or urine, there are no restrictions based on hemoglobin levels. If you join the study, you can expect to provide a blood sample, among other things, to help advance important research. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you’re interested, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to medical research.
