ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a community-based program that focuses on diet and exercise can affect pregnancy outcomes for women living in urban areas. The goal is to see if this program can help reduce the chances of women developing obesity and type 2 diabetes during and after pregnancy, as well as help their children avoid these conditions. The researchers believe that by making healthy lifestyle changes together as a community, they can improve the health of both mothers and their babies.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be pregnant and less than 20 weeks along. They should also be interested in joining the program and willing to give their consent. However, women with certain medical conditions or those who have had diabetes before (except for gestational diabetes in past pregnancies) may not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle, which could lead to better health outcomes for you and your baby. The trial is currently looking for participants, so if you think you might be eligible, it could be a great opportunity to make a positive impact on your pregnancy and future health.
