**Clinical Trial Summary: Diagnosis and Management of Inflammatory and Infectious Diseases**
This clinical trial is focused on evaluating and managing patients with inflammatory and infectious diseases that haven't been addressed in other studies. Sometimes, patients are referred to our facility because they have known or suspected infections or symptoms related to inflammation, and we want to ensure they receive the best care possible. This trial aims to gather more information about these conditions, which can help in teaching and in future research.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 3 years old and either show signs of infection or inflammation or have been exposed to an infectious agent. Importantly, your medical care will be overseen by a dedicated doctor at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) who has a special interest in your condition. If you are pregnant or have certain health issues that could make participation risky, you may not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to receive standard medical assessments and treatments, and your participation will help improve understanding and care for similar illnesses in the future.
