ClinConnect Summary
The Neurosciences Research Repository (NRR) is a clinical trial aimed at improving our understanding of neurological conditions by collecting important health information and tissue samples from patients. The goal is to create a comprehensive database that helps researchers study these conditions more effectively. The NRR will enroll patients who are receiving neurosurgical care and will collect data and samples at specific times during their treatment. Family members of certain patients may also be invited to participate.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be a neurosurgical patient or a family member of someone with specific conditions, such as vascular issues or brain tumors. Participants will have their health information and samples collected while they are receiving care and for up to five years after. Your privacy will be protected, as all data will be labeled with a study code, and strict security measures will be in place. This research is vital for advancing treatment options and understanding neurological disorders better, and participants can contribute to meaningful scientific advancements in this field.
