ClinConnect Summary
The Danish Childhood Obesity Biobank is a research study focused on understanding obesity and related health issues, such as metabolic diseases, liver problems, and heart disease. Researchers are collecting health data from two groups: one group comes from an obesity clinic, and the other is made up of children and adults from the general population. This work aims to improve how doctors treat obesity and its complications by connecting research findings with clinical care.
If you or someone you know is between the ages of 2 and 100 and has a body mass index (BMI) that is higher than 90% of others their age, you might be eligible to participate. Participants can expect to share health information that will help researchers learn more about obesity. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and everyone, regardless of gender, is welcome to join. Your involvement could contribute to important discoveries that benefit future patients struggling with obesity.
