ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called temporomandibular disorder (TMD), which affects the jaw joint and can cause pain, clicking sounds, and difficulty opening the mouth. The researchers want to understand how different treatments work based on the pressure in the jaw joint and find the best ways to treat different types of TMD. They are looking for participants aged 16 to 60 who experience issues like pain when opening or closing their mouth, clicking in the jaw, or discomfort in the jaw joint.
If you decide to take part in this study, you will receive care and treatment tailored to your needs. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and they want to include people of all genders. However, there are some important criteria to consider: those with certain serious health conditions, pregnant women, or individuals with specific jaw problems may not be eligible to join. This study could help advance our understanding of TMD and improve treatment options for those who suffer from this condition.
