ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on collecting tissue samples from patients with cancer who are receiving radiation therapy, as well as from healthy volunteers. The main goal is to store and analyze these samples in a laboratory to help researchers better understand cancer and improve future treatments. By comparing samples from cancer patients and healthy individuals, scientists hope to learn more about how cancer develops and responds to different therapies.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of cancer that requires radiation therapy. Both men and women of any ethnicity can join, as long as they are patients at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and can attend follow-up visits. If you agree to participate, you'll provide consent and be involved in the collection of your tissue samples, which will be used for important research. It's also worth noting that you can still participate even if you're involved in other clinical trials or have received other cancer treatments in the past.
