- • Diagnosis of osteoarthritis
- • Scheduled for primary hip or knee replacement
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • Arthritis other than osteoarthritis
- • Medication affecting glucose metabolism (excl. antidiabetic agents)
- • Not undergoing hip or knee replacement
