ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding why some kidney transplant patients experience a return of proteinuria, which is the presence of excess protein in urine, after their transplant. The study is particularly looking at patients who have a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and are at risk of developing serious kidney problems. Researchers will analyze blood and kidney tissue samples taken before and after the transplant to find out what causes this issue.
To participate in this trial, you must be a kidney transplant recipient, and if you are under 25 years old, you can be included. The study is currently recruiting participants of all genders. If you join the trial, you'll help researchers learn more about proteinuria and how to improve outcomes for patients who undergo kidney transplants. Your involvement can contribute to future treatments and better care for people with similar conditions.
