ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on developing and improving special imaging techniques called magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) that can help scientists better understand the chemistry of the brain and muscles. By using these advanced MRI methods, researchers hope to gain insights that could lead to new treatments for psychiatric illnesses. The study is looking for healthy volunteers between the ages of 18 and 65 who can help with this important research.

If you decide to participate, you'll first go through a screening visit where your health will be assessed through a medical examination and some tests. If you qualify, you'll return for a second visit to have an MRI scan of your brain, which can provide detailed images of brain structure. If you've had an MRI in the last year, your previous images can be used instead. You'll also undergo an MRS scan, which looks at the chemical activity in your brain. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested in contributing to brain research, this could be a great opportunity!
