ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on improving a special type of MRI scan using a new machine called the 3T MRI scanner. MRI scans are important tools that help doctors see the structure and function of different parts of the body, such as the brain, heart, and muscles. Researchers want to test and refine how these scans are done, particularly for studying how aging affects the body. They will be conducting scans on healthy individuals as well as those with specific conditions that might benefit from MRI studies.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old, able to read and speak English, and willing to follow the study procedures. Those who are pregnant, nursing, or weigh over 300 pounds will not be able to participate. Participants can expect to undergo a thorough health check, including medical history and some tests, followed by an MRI scan. Some scans might involve a small amount of a contrast agent, which is a safe, radioactive substance used to enhance the images. It’s important to note that this study is not providing any treatments; it’s focused solely on improving the MRI scanning methods.
