ClinConnect Summary

The "Virtual" Multicenter Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) Registry is a clinical trial aimed at understanding Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection, a serious condition where a tear forms in the coronary arteries, potentially leading to heart problems. The main goal of this study is to gather information about the experiences and health of individuals with SCAD, which can help improve awareness, treatment, and prevention of this condition.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with SCAD, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Key eligibility criteria include being able to provide consent, having had one or more episodes of SCAD, and being either a man or a woman who is pregnant or has recently given birth. The study is open to individuals of all ages, including those under 30, and especially encourages participation from people who belong to underrepresented racial or ethnic groups. Participants will be asked to share their medical history and current health status, and they can help contribute valuable information that may lead to better outcomes for others with SCAD.
