ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying childhood-onset behavioral, psychiatric, and developmental disorders, including conditions like autism and other neurological issues. Researchers want to understand how these disorders start, how they can be treated, and how they may be passed down in families. They are looking for participants of all ages who have these conditions, as well as family members, such as parents, siblings, and even grandparents, to help gather valuable information.
If you or your family member has a diagnosis of a psychiatric disorder, autism, or other behavioral issues, you may be eligible to participate. Participants will undergo a series of evaluations, including a medical history review, physical examinations, and tests to assess thinking and behavior. Some may also have blood and urine tests, brain scans, and possibly a spinal tap to collect fluid from around the brain. This study aims to help doctors learn more about these disorders and improve treatment options for those affected. If you’re interested or have questions, it’s a good idea to talk to your primary healthcare provider.
