ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of carbohydrates in foods affect blood sugar levels. By comparing how various foods impact blood sugar to a standard sugar source, researchers aim to understand which foods can help reduce the risk of developing diabetes and heart disease. This information could help people make healthier choices about what they eat.
To participate in the study, you must be healthy, between the ages of 18 to 65, and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 27. However, if you have diabetes, any chronic diseases, issues with blood sugar control, or are pregnant, you wouldn’t be eligible. If you join, you can expect to try different foods and have your blood sugar levels measured afterward. This research could play an important role in guiding healthier eating habits for everyone.
