ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how patients feel and function after undergoing a procedure called transcatheter heart valve replacement. This procedure is often used for people with aortic stenosis, a condition where the heart's aortic valve becomes narrowed and makes it harder for blood to flow. The researchers want to see how patients' characteristics and health outcomes change over time after the surgery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be someone who is selected for this heart valve replacement and willing to give your consent to join the study. The trial is open to both men and women between the ages of 65 and 74. If you decide to join, you’ll be monitored to see how the procedure affects your quality of life and overall health. It’s important to know that pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot participate, and individuals who cannot provide consent will also be excluded. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you're interested, it could be a good opportunity to contribute to important research while receiving care for your condition.
