ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how alcohol use disorders affect people's behavior and brain activity. Researchers want to develop simple tasks that can be done while a person is inside a special machine called an MRI scanner. This machine takes pictures of the brain and helps scientists understand more about how alcohol impacts behavior, which can be useful for future studies.

To participate, you must be a right-handed adult between 18 and 65 years old and in good physical health. If you’re currently in a hospital for another study, you may also be eligible. Participants will go through some health checks and answer questions about their alcohol use. During the study, you will complete a computerized task, either inside the MRI scanner for about an hour, where you might need to stay still for some time, or outside of it. The scanner makes loud noises, but you'll be provided with earplugs. Please note that certain conditions, like having metal objects in your body or being pregnant, may prevent you from participating.
