ClinConnect Summary
The Modifiable Variables in Parkinsonism (MVP) trial is looking to understand what factors can help improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's disease and related conditions. Researchers want to learn about the habits, beliefs, and treatments that individuals with fewer symptoms and slower disease progression are using. If you choose to participate, you'll be asked to complete surveys about your experiences with Parkinson's disease and your overall health, along with details about your diet. This will happen every six months for five years.
To be eligible for this study, you need to have Parkinson's disease or related conditions like Multiple System Atrophy or Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. You should also have access to the internet and be comfortable using a computer to fill out the surveys. Participants must be willing to commit to the surveys every six months, which will take about 90 minutes each time. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it offers a chance to contribute to important research that may help improve care for people with Parkinson's disease.
