ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different ways to help children with Hirschsprung allied disease who have trouble with constipation. The researchers want to find out if treating the condition with medication and other non-surgical methods (called conservative treatment) is as effective as surgery in improving constipation symptoms. The trial is currently looking for participants, including children aged 1 to 14 years who experience hard stools less than twice a week and have a specific scoring system result that indicates they might benefit from this study.
To be eligible for the trial, children must not have functional constipation and need to meet certain scoring criteria. Participants will undergo evaluations to determine if they qualify, and those who do will be part of the study comparing the two treatment options. This is a chance for families to contribute to important research that could improve treatment for children dealing with these challenging symptoms.
